Light Spirited in Pink

In January I purchased a large and somewhat exotic bouquet from my local grocer and made the beginning of a new series called, The Bouquet Project. I treated each flower type to a portrait while experimenting with a new lens. I was fortunate the flowers lasted as long as they did while I tried out unique themes. The flowers from this bouquet include Light Spirited in Pink and the following images:

I am delighted for the opportunity to show, Light Spirited in Pink in the 2017 Creative Tallahassee Exhibition as it is been dominated mostly by fine artists other than photographers, (including painters, mixed-media, textile, etc.) and their work is beautiful! Here is the announcement from the Council on Culture & Arts website, and I hope to see you there!
